Couldn't be more happy with my new CRG/DD2 kart. Kris has done a great job getting kart prepared and delivered. He also helped with break-in at Dixon and Infineon last weekend. His support is the reason that CRG was my choice. The kart is first class and I am having a great time learning a new toy.
One of the most impressive things about Martin Karting is the level of direct personal support they provide. Marin Karting's trackside support is superb. They're always there when you need them and they're great to work with. Martin Karting really made the kart buying decision easy and enjoyable.

I just came to karting a month ago and thanks to the exceptional support from Marin Karting, my initiation was rapid and painless. Not only did they deliver the kart at the track and spend the first few hours with me fine tuning the setup, they also supported me as well as if I was a “factory” driver during my first racing week end. When I decided to get into kart racing with my son, I was very frustrated trying to get any straight information from either the internet, or local kart shops. It was so confusing with all the various kart manufacturers, classes, and new terminology (i.e. TaG). The internet, unfortunately, only served to create more confusion. I then found Marin Karting… and things just got easier. The folks there were direct, clear, and extremely helpful. They listened to what we wanted to achieve with karting, and directed us to the right solution for us. I ended up with a CRG Cadet kart for my son and a CRG Kali cart with a Parilla Leopard for myself. We have been having a blast ever since!
Not only did we get the perfect solution for us, but have saved a significant amount of money because of MK’s help. It is so easy in karting to end up buying many things you do not need, or buying parts based flashy ads, or “what others are running”, and just ending up heading down a path that does not produce results, and costs more money. Kris Shaw’s experience and knowledge in kart setup and racing techniques has been invaluable, and makes a ton of sense. I am amazed at how much bad advice I have received at the track by well-meaning karters, but I have learned that you cannot just “try this and that”, but you need a philosophy and consistent approach to kart setup. Marin Karting and Kris Shaw provide that, and it produces dependable results.
After working with Marin Karting, quite frankly, I am amazed that some of the other local kart shops I visited are even in business. The contrast is remarkable. Don’t let a kart shop make you feel stupid… you deserve the answers to your questions.
With Marin Karting, you don’t just get karts and parts… but a tremendous head start on the competition!
Now I just have to figure out how to beat all those other Marin Karting customers!

I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Marin Karting in buying my 2004 Kali/Parilla package. As I am completely new to the sport, I spent hours on the computer and the phone researching several chassis and engine packages. When Adrian invited me out to the track, what first hit me, besides the CRG/Marin Karting logos proudly displayed, was the quality of trackside support that they had to offer. Not only did they bring their “shop” to the track, which is invaluable in itself especially to a beginner, but Kris and Aaron were also on hand to answer questions that would surely come up. He did not try to sell me the most expensive set-up. In fact, he was quite honest in telling me that certain applications would not even make a difference at my level. "I did extensive research before committing to my kart purchase and the consistent feedback was...the shop that you buy from should "support" your effort, and that decision is at least as important as the kart/engine selection. The Marin Karting staff is not only knowledgeable from first-hand experience (both Kris and Aaron race what they sell), but friendly and helpful in a way that only someone truly enthusiastic and passionate about the sport can be. They don't try to sell you stuff, they educate you with no commercial bias and without insulting the competition to help you decide what's best for you. My friend John and I each decided on CRG Kali karts with a "touch-and-go" (TAG)" set-up to run together instead of shifter karts, and were both treated to a "break-in" and coaching session with trackside delivery that was invaluable to setting us up to enjoy the karts.
